Chris began obedience training when he adopted his first dog, Polo. With very little dog experience, the rambunctious lab was overwhelming. That is when Chris began his dog training journey. He started training at first just to get some control over Polo, but quickly got hooked. Chris soon added a second dog and continued training. He began assisting in obedience training classes with his future wife Karen. Chris has owned many dogs over the years, all of them going through extensive obedience training. Most of Chris’s experience has been with larger dogs. Chris now instructs or assists with puppy, obedience, rally, and agility classes at Cramer Canine. Most of his free time is spent working at home at his and Karen’s hobby farm.

Patricia Leahy has been around dogs for her entire life. She started her first dog training experiences at the age of 8. At that time she trained and competed as a junior handler in agility. Life lead her away from dog training for many years but she always had a passion for dogs. In April of 2020 she adopted her current dog, Odin, and started training with Julie Cramer. Patricia quickly became involved in many aspects of dog training again. Patricia and Odin are currently working on Obedience and Rally titles. When Patricia is not working with her own dog she is assisting with classes. She enjoys helping others learn to communicate with their dogs.
